NHS Prescription Charges

The current NHS prescription charge is £9.15 per item. However, certain groups in England are exempt from this charge.

Save Money with a Prepayment Certificate

If you pay for your prescriptions and regularly receive two or more items per month, you may save money by purchasing an NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC) or an HRT Prepayment Certificate.
These certificates cover all your prescriptions for a set period, reducing your overall cost.
