The current NHS prescription charge is £9.15 however certain groups in England are exempt from this charge. The NHS website has more information about <a href="https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/prescriptions-and-pharmacies/who-can-get-free-prescriptions/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">who is entitled free prescriptions</a>.

If you do pay for your prescription and you receive more than two items on a monthly basis, you might want to consider a <a href="https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/help-nhs-prescription-costs/prescription-prepayment-certificates-ppcs" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">pre-payment certificate</a> or a <a href="https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/help-nhs-prescription-costs/nhs-hormone-replacement-therapy-prescription-prepayment-certificate-hrt-ppc" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HRT prepayment certificate</a>.

Please message us to let us know if you are exempt from paying for your prescription.

Falsely claiming exemption will result in a fine should you be investigated by NHS protect.
