At Signature Pharmacy, we follow strict guidelines to ensure the safe and compliant handling of controlled drug (CD) prescriptions. Here’s what you need to know about ordering and receiving these medications.

Prescription Requirements

Private Prescriptions
  1. Must be issued on an FP10CDs form (pink form)
  1. We require the original physical copy before we can dispense your medication
NHS Prescriptions
  1. Can be sent electronically via the NHS Spine or as a paper FP10 form (green form)
  1. For paper prescriptions, we require the physical original copy

Delivery Guidelines

Royal Mail Deliveries
  1. All controlled drug prescriptions are sent via Royal Mail signed-for service for secure delivery
  1. Royal Mail does not collect on Sundays. Orders processed after the final Saturday collection will be delivered the following Tuesday
  1. Ensure someone is available to sign for the package. If no one is available, the package will be held by Royal Mail or returned to us
Same-Day Deliveries
  1. Eligible same-day deliveries will be completed on the same day if processed before the cut-off
  1. On weekends, ensure someone is available to receive the package, as couriers must hand it directly to the recipient
